Mira is an AI-first video tool that helps creators and brands turn raw clips into short, shareable stories. We are looking for a Mobile Flutter Developer (freelance or contract) to help us shape the first versions of our mobile app.
This role is ideal for a freelance/contract developer, or a Bachelor’s or Master’s student in Computer Science (or similar), who already has experience building and shipping mobile apps with Flutter for both iOS and Android.
What you will work on
Implement and refine the Mira mobile app in Flutter for both iOS and Android.
Connect the app to our APIs and AI pipeline, ensuring a smooth flow from upload to finished video.
Collaborate with the founders and engineers to translate product ideas and user feedback into clear UI flows.
Write clean, maintainable code and contribute to basic documentation for features you build.
What we are looking for
A mobile developer with hands-on experience building at least one mobile app in Flutter that runs on both iOS and Android (personal, school, or client project).
Experience using tools like Xcode, Android Studio, and Firebase for build and deployment.
Familiar with Git and follows clear, reviewable pull requests (PRs).
Solid understanding of basic app architecture, state management, and working with REST APIs.
Fluent in English and communicating clearly in a small team.
Strong plus if you have:
Frontend experience with React, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
Backend experience with Python and FastAPI, or interest in learning it.
Personal interest in AI, computer vision, photography, or video creation and a willingness to discuss product ideas from a user's point of view.
